The Fury by Alex Michaelides
Even when I thought I knew where the story was going, we’d then get into another act that changed everything I thought I knew yet again. I cannot recommend The Fury enough and if you’re someone who loves a good mystery, this is the book for you.

House of Flame and Shadow (Crescent City #3) by Sarah J. Maas
I had high hopes for this series only for them to be crushed. This book is mediocre at best and makes me think Maas didn’t really have a clue where this series was going.

The vibes are there and if you don’t think too hard about it, it’s not a bad book. It’s just not a great one either.

While I started with the Addicted series, I’m sorry to say Lo and Lily don’t hold a candle to Rose and Connor. I loved finally getting to be inside their heads and seeing how they operated.
